There are no limits in the world of poetry, but public speaking is USUALLY not poetry.
We love the poetic, and appreciate the imagination involved and an audience comes to hear the specific.
An audience wants parameters, surprise is fine, and WIIFM* the audience asks.
Public Speaking means put fences around the pastures.
It means clues to right and wrong.
